Maddy and Adam’s Wedding at Pinstripes in Oakbrook

DJ Shannon and Assistant Gabrielle had the honor to help Maddy and Adam to celebrate their wedding at Pinstripes in Oakbrook. Their reception took place immediately after tying the knot at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. The guests started the night with cocktails in the bar area before making their way into the reception hall, where we provided Full Room Uplighting. The uplighting was set to a cyan to match the navy theme and worked well with the beautiful centerpieces provided by Robert’s Floral Design in Chicago.

We started the night with the bridal party introductions. After a family style dinner and toasts from the family members, we started with the first dances. The couple shared dances with their parents, including a father daughter dance and a mother son dance. As soon as the dance floor opened, it exploded with energy. The night was full of dancing, as this group came to party! The guests were having so much fun, they organized their own conga line through the tables in the room. And when the limbo broke out in the middle of the dance floor, we were prepared with our roll-out limbo stick. While we don’t use it at many weddings, it is great to have when there is a group ready to limbo!

At the time the couple would normally do a cake cutting, the couple decided to do a pizza cutting! We love when couples put their unique spins on traditional wedding events. And since we know the couple doesn’t love cake, they decided to have a Donut Bar and Sweets Table provided by Dynamic Desserts.

Congratulations Maddy and Adam! We hope your marriage is filled with as much fun and dancing as you and your guests at the wedding!
