Taylor and JP’s Wedding at Northfork Farm in Oswego Illinois

farm wedding ceremony enterainers at northfork farm in oswego

What an incredible wedding!

Last weekend DJ Paul Michaels and Assistant Evan celebrated with Taylor and JP for their rustic wedding at Northfork Farm in Oswego, IL. It was an excellent event and we were honored and proud to have provided our entertainment and wedding DJ services.

We’ve worked at Northfork Farm a few times and have always had a blast. They have a beautiful venue for these summer weddings. Taylor and JP had held their ceremony outside. It was a serene setting that allowed for us to overlook some beautiful pastures. Horses ran around while the ceremony was taking place. It is great to get away from the city settings sometimes.

What a view! After the ceremony, everyone moved into the main tent for cocktail hour. Now this wasn’t just your typical tent (like one might set up for a one time event). The tent at Northfork is a permanent structure setup on concrete…plus, it event has air conditioning and all of the comforts of a more traditional wedding reception venue..

After a slightly delayed start to the festivities, we got the dance floor rocking, and kept it that way until the very last minute of the wedding celebration!

If you’re looking for something a little different for your wedding or wedding reception, we highly recommend heading out to Oswego at Northfork Farm. I you like, we can assist in coordinating the venue for you. Just reach out to us by clicking here.

Laura and Gary’s Northfork Farm Wedding

This past weekend, assistant Michael and I (Paul) just wrapped up Laura and Gary’s wedding at Northfork Farm in Oswego, IL.

This was our first time at Northfork Farm, which was honestly a great venue if you’re looking for a farm style wedding venue. We had the ceremony outside with horses running around in the background of the ceremony (behind Laura and Gary and the officiant), and then moved to the outdoor patio for cocktail hour. After cocktail hour, everyone moved into the tent (which did have air conditioning – unlike many tent receptions) where the area was beautifully decorated with their wedding colors (teal and white with some grey tones). We provided uplighting for this wedding, which really pulled the decor together.

This was not only a beautiful wedding, but also a really fun wedding (as can be seen in the pictures below). Once we started dancing, the party didn’t stop until the very end!

Laura and Gary: I love that you knew that you wanted to hire us before even meeting with me after seeing us in action at Marc and Kara’s wedding. It was great working with you, and we’re looking forward to seeing you at other friends’ weddings in the future!

Amanda and Michael’s Emerson Creek Pottery and Tearoom Wedding in Oswego

Amanda and Michael with Paul

Amanda and Michael tied the knot in September 2014. They chose a really unique venue to have their wedding, the Emerson Creek Pottery and Tearoom in Oswego, IL.

Photography for engagement pictures and the day of was done by Captured by Sheila, based out of Warrenville, IL.

It ended up being a perfect day (weather wise) in September, and the outdoor ceremony by the tree was beautiful!

Amanda and Michael are craft beer lovers, so they served some of their favorite craft brews including beer from Two Brothers Brewing Company in Warrenville, IL.

Amanda and Michael, thank you for letting me be a part of your very special day!

Check out some snapshots from the wedding, and feel free to tag your friends!
