Recently, my team and I went down to Champaign, IL again (for a second time, on a special request) to DJ and provide entertainment for David’s Bar Mitzvah. Rocking this party with me was DJ FastLane on the turntables, and Dance Motivator Kevin with me on the dance floor while I was the emcee. David’s family was referred to me by a past client who’s Bar Mitzvah I DJed in Champaign two years earlier. Myself and my team were able to bring the “Chicago” feel and energy to Champaign, which is exactly what David and his family wanted!
David’s family prepared a great video slideshow/montage showing pictures of David growing up, and pictures with all of his friends from OSRUI, his summer camp in Wisconsin. We played some games with the kids/teenagers while the adults were busy with cocktail hour and lunch, and then had some interactive dances we were able to teach to everyone as well!
The party was held at the Stone Creek Events Center in Urbana where Bob, the owner was great to work with. I also had the opportunity to work with Bradley of Bradley Leeb Photography who was really great to work with, and a true professional at what he does.
