As we bid farewell to an unforgettable 2024, we had the absolute privilege of closing out the year with Joshua and Ben’s magical wedding celebration at Loft Lucia in Chicago’s lively West Loop neighborhood. This was not just a wedding — it was a vibrant, love-filled, dance-packed event that perfectly encapsulated everything we love about what we do. What better way to end the year than with such a joyful celebration?

Although Joshua and Ben currently call New York home, they chose to celebrate their love in Chicago, a city close to Joshua’s heart and family roots. The Windy City was the perfect setting for their big day, blending its unique energy and charm with the warm and modern elegance of Loft Lucia. Every detail came together beautifully, making the couple’s vision a stunning reality.

The festivities began with a touching Jewish wedding ceremony on the third floor of Loft Lucia. Friends and family gathered from all over to witness Joshua and Ben exchange their vows, creating a deeply emotional and heartfelt atmosphere. Their talented wedding coordinator, Dara, ensured every aspect of the day ran smoothly, allowing everyone to focus on the love and joy in the room.

After the ceremony, guests transitioned to the fourth floor for a delightful cocktail hour, while our team worked alongside the venue staff to transform the ceremony space into a lively reception area. Loft Lucia’s versatility, combined with our careful planning, made the transition seamless and allowed guests to relax, mingle, and savor the moment.

Then came the reception, and wow — what a celebration it was! It all kicked off with Joshua and Ben’s romantic first dance, setting the tone for an evening of love and excitement. Moments later, the party erupted with a high-energy horah, where guests enthusiastically circled the couple, clapped, cheered, and lifted Joshua, Ben, and both sets of their parents high into the air on chairs. The energy in the room was electric, and the joy on everyone’s faces was unforgettable.

When it came to music, Joshua and Ben’s eclectic taste made the night extra special. DJ Paul Michaels and the Paul Michaels Events team, curated a playlist that perfectly reflected the couple’s personalities while keeping the dance floor packed all night long. From timeless classics to today’s hits, every song was carefully chosen to resonate with the crowd and maintain the vibrant energy of the evening.
