You couldn’t have asked for a better day to get married than August 13th – just ask Kellie and Greg! This day had all the right elements for a perfect wedding day, including the team that put it together. Kellie and Greg made sure to acquire some amazing vendors for this special occasion, which is how we became a part of the fun. For this wedding, we proved to be the best Chicago area wedding DJ by showcasing our services. This included providing our wedding elite package and our photo booth services.

We traveled a bit outside of Chicago to Deer Path Inn, located in Lake Forest, Illinois. While we were not present for their ceremony, we can imagine it was every bit as amazing as their reception ended up being. Walking into the venue, the natural beauty of the space was accented with some amber uplighting, which we also provided. Right before everyone arrived for the reception, we did a room reveal for the bride and groom. Judging by the look on Kellie and Greg’s faces, they absolutely loved the set up! Guests then trickled in from the ceremony site to enjoy cocktail hour, and before too long, it was time for everyone to find their seats for dinner.

As the bridal party and newlyweds made their introductions, the room filled with excitement and cheers. Kellie and Greg cut their cake, then guests settled down as the father of the bride gave a toast to the couple. Kellie and Greg then gave a welcome speech, thanking everyone for being there and enjoying the day with them. After saying a blessing, Deer Path Inn provided a delicious coursed meal for everyone. Two of Kellie’s bridesmaids and one of Greg’s groomsmen shared some lovely toasts to the duo, which everyone raised their glasses to. Following some dynamic first dances with each other and their parents, it was time to open up the dance floor so everyone could let loose!

After the first of the traditional dances, DJ Paul and DJ Jessie hosted the shoe game and anniversary dance, both of which everyone had a blast with. During the night, our DJs played the best hits of the alternative rock, hip hop, and top 40 genres. There’s no doubt that the atmosphere stayed energized all night long! They also got the Chicago spirit lifted by played “Go Cubs Go”, which everyone sang along to. There were plenty of unforgettable moments during Kellie and Greg’s wedding, but one of the most prevalent is how much fun everyone had. The newlyweds were glowing on the dance floor as they watched their friends and family have a blast. Kellie and Greg’s vivaciousness was contagious and spread to all their guests.
