TGIF; not only can we say “cheers” to the weekend, but also to the union of Brittany and Ryan! These two lovebirds held their perfect wedding at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, Illinois. We were thrilled to fill the role of “Chicago suburbs wedding DJ” for this weekend. From all the DJ services we offer, our wedding elite package was exactly what their reception needed.
Brittany and Ryan’s held their celebration at Cantigny Park’s Rose Garden. Guests gathered outdoors for the ceremony, with lush greenery and gorgeous roses surrounding the area. The weather this day was perfect for an outdoor ceremony – just about 70 degrees with clear skies and only a few clouds in sight! Guests enjoyed watching their two favorite people talk about the past two and a half years together and exchange their vows to each other. After some laughs and tears of joy, the “I Do’s” were said and the official newlyweds walked back down the aisle. Everyone then gathered to mingle during cocktail hour before heading inside the tent at the Woodside Pavilion for dinner.
The reception space was beautifully classic, with elegant chandeliers and crisp, white tablecloths. The floral decorations from Shamrock Garden made the space all the more beautiful. With gorgeous views of large trees, lush greenery, and the park’s pond, it was like stepping into a wedding magazine! The introductions from the bridal party and newlyweds were followed by a speech from the bride and groom themselves. They welcomed everyone and thanked them for coming to help them celebrate. Then came time for speeches from loved ones who wanted to say something special about Brittany and Ryan’s big day, as well as about the two of them. First up were Brittany’s mom and dad who talked about how happy they was that their daughter had found someone who made her so happy. Then came best man and maid-of-honor, each giving their heartwarming speeches about their two favorite people. The room filled with applause as everyone listened during dinner.
The rest of the evening was filled with dancing and music. Brittany and Ryan kept their first dance sweet and traditional, as with their dances with their parents. After these concluded, everyone joined in on the dance floor! DJ Paul made sure to bring the energy and keep the room lively by playing all the best Top 40 hits. The whole room stayed on the dance floor all night long! DJ Paul proved that we’re not just a Chicago suburbs wedding DJ company, but the key to keep the party going. As the night concluded, the crowd begged for “one more song!”, so DJ Paul made sure to provide. Brittany and Ryan joined the rest of their guests on the dance floor as everyone danced and sang along to “The Time (Dirty Bit)” by Black Eyed Peas.
Brittany and Ryan’s wedding was indeed a beautiful celebration full of romance and laughter, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for these two. Cheers to the newlyweds, and thank you for choosing Paul Michaels Events to be a part of your special day!
