Covid has forced many couples to make changes to their wedding plans. While it has changed many plans, it has given many couples the opportunity to throw great celebrations without the pressure of their wedding day. Fortunately, Cristina and Max got to do just that! They decided to make their wedding an Upscale BBQ theme with black tablecloth’s and buffalo plaid table runners. The couple said to us: “We I love music and so we want our guests to have a great time eating, drinking, and dancing!” We were so excited to make this a reality. DJ Shannon and Assistant Israel were the perfect team for this event. The couple elected the Wedding Elite Package. The event started with a Buffett dinner in an outdoor tent. We provided a satellite audio system in the tent while we had our main set-up in the indoor reception area. The benefit of the satellite audio system is that it is wirelessly connected to the main system, so the same audio is played in both rooms.
As guests finished their dinner, they made their way into the reception area for the Bride and Groom’s first dance. They shared a memorable dance to the song “Fade Into You”. This is when the party really began. We had our upgraded dance floor lighting, subwoofer and speakers to create a big party environment. We loved their mix of music, which mashed together some wedding favorites with a bunch of new music. We played everything from The Grease Megamix to Pursuit of Happiness by Kid Cudi. The night came to a close with a tradition that many of their friends have enjoyed. We played Tiny Dancer by Elton John as Cristina and Max’s guests gathered into a sang the song to end the night.
