Mazel Tov to Dena and Tom!
This past weekend we celebrated with Dena and Tom as they tied the knot in their Chicago Jewish Wedding at the Marriott Suites in Downers Grove. Assistant Evan and DJ Paul Michaels provided wedding ceremony DJ services, wedding reception DJ services, and Chicago Wedding uplighting.
We started the evening with a beautiful ceremony officiated by Rabbi Kamil of Congregation Etz Chaim. Dena and Tom’s guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the hallway while the vendors (us included) completed a room flip to turn the elegant ceremony room with the couple’s chuppah into a periwinkle (the wedding color) lit and decorated reception hall for an evening full of dancing. Dena’s face for her room’s “First Look” said it all! (I wish we got a picture of it).
After dinner and a few speeches, we kicked off the night with a packed dance floor for the Hora (traditional Jewish dance). The crowd kept rocking until the end of the night!
