As we transition from summer to fall, Chicago weather can get fairly unpredictable. Outdoor weddings in October can be tricky, but thankfully for Alyssa and Dan, the day turned out perfect. For this wedding, we headed out to Eaglewood Resort & Spa in Itasca, IL. Our DJ services included our Wedding VIP Package, ceremony services, and a photo booth for their guests to enjoy.
We started out with a beautiful ceremony out on the golf course. The bridal party walked down the aisle to “Love Me Like You Do” by Elle Goulding, then Alyssa followed with everyone’s eyes on her. Some heartfelt words were exchanged, then the officiant invited the guests to add notes to a time capsule the couple had for their special day. “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” by Natalie Cole serenaded Alyssa and Dan as they walked back down the aisle, now husband and wife.
Following the ceremony, guests moved inside to enjoy a refreshing cocktail hour. The bridal party then showed off some dynamite moves during their intros, but the newlyweds were the true showstoppers. Alyssa and Dan both shared some emotional words of gratitude to all their guests, which kicked off dinner with an amazing five course meal. While everyone enjoyed the feast, the Maid of Honor and Best Man shared some very sentimental toasts.
After dinner comes out favorite part of the evening – the dance floor opened and was ready for action! But first, Alyssa and Dan had their first dance, which was all the more dreamy with our Dancing in the Clouds effect. DJ Brian featured top hits and throwbacks of all genres, but mostly pop, rock, and country. The night concluded with “(I’ve Had The) Time of My Life” by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes, which felt like a very fitting synopsis for the entire day.
