A little over four years ago, Stam and Adam’s love story began. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago, we had the privilege of providing our expert DJ services for their special day at Hilton Chicago Northbrook. As friends of DJ Paul, they knew that their wedding would be filled with music, dancing, and cherished memories. For their wedding, we utilized our wedding elite package and wedding ceremony services to give our couple an unforgettable night. We also provided them with a custom Name in Lights monogram and some blush uplighting to give their reception space some extra flair.

The Hilton served as the perfect backdrop for Stam and Adam’s wedding, offering a picturesque setting for their ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. To begin the day, The Willow Room provided an elegant space for the couple’s heartfelt ceremony. The room was totally filled by loved ones and the sounds of Paul Michaels Events’ tasteful music selection. As the bride and groom repeated their vows after the rabbi, they sealed their promise to each other with a kiss, and officially pronounced man and wife. The energy in the room couldn’t have been more joyful!

As the ceremony concluded, guests transitioned seamlessly to The Garden Terrace, where they enjoyed a delightful cocktail hour. DJ Howard set the mood with a skillfully curated a playlist that resonated with the joyful atmosphere. Meanwhile, the venue staff worked their magic, transforming The Pine Room into a breathtaking reception space that would host the night’s festivities.

When it came time for Stam and Adam to make their appearance as official newlyweds, the room became electrified with radiating energy and excitement. Their reception kicked off with a vibrant entrance, accompanied by the infectious beats of Bruno Mars’ “24k Magic”. “Love on Top” by Beyonce filled the room as the couple shared their cake cutting. Guests enjoyed some beautiful speeches as they feasted on an amazing dinner – which helped get everyone fueled for dancing later in the evening! Following this, our bride and groom made their way to the dance floor to share their first dance to “Everything” by Michael Bublé.

DJ Howard helped to incorporate cherished wedding traditions, fostering an environment of togetherness and celebration. The Horah dance united guests in a spirited circle of joy, while the bouquet toss and garter retrieval sparked laughter and friendly competition. When it came time for everyone to hit the dance floor, he made sure to play music that would keep the party going. The evening showcased a perfect blend of timeless classics, including The Backstreet Boys’ “I Want it That Way” and The Temptations’ “My Girl,” alongside modern favorites like Pitbull featuring Ne-Yo’s “Time of Our Lives.” He made sure to cater to everyone’s tastes by filling the room with hip hop and pop hits, classic favorites from the 70s and 80s, and of course, the best wedding favorites. DJ Howard’s seamless transitions and infectious energy kept guests on their feet, dancing the night away.

As the night drew to a close, DJ Howard curated the final moments of the celebration with precision and care. The bride and groom shared a memorable last dance to the upbeat rhythms of “Glad You Came” by The Wanted, inviting all guests to join them in a moment of pure joy and togetherness. The room filled with laughter, heartfelt embraces, and the lingering magic of a truly unforgettable evening.
