We recently had the honor of working with Isabel and Sam to pull together their last minute “destination wedding” at the Lakewood in Chicago, IL. Let me take a minute to explain what I mean by that last sentence.. Isabel and Sam had originally planned to have their wedding in St. Thomas as a destination wedding, but due to the recent hurricane Irma, they had to change their plans and re-plan their wedding in only one month!
I told the couple what I tell everyone: If you stack your list of vendors with some really great, reliable people, who are there to make sure your wedding is perfect, then you have nothing to worry about!
I think that line couldn’t have been more true for Isabel and Sam. In one month, they were able to pull off a wedding that looked like it took at least a year to plan and organize! Their event coordinator (Emily) from Paramount Events really helped them out and played a huge part in making this happen, including referring the Isabel and Sam to Paul Michaels Events. 🙂
We provided ceremony and reception DJ services, including full room uplighting (candlelight colored), and we also provided a wireless audio setup for cocktail hour while the venue staff flipped the room from the ceremony setup to the reception setup.
As you can tell from the pictures, a great time was had by all!
Isabel and Sam: I’m so glad you chose to work with us and trusted us with your wedding day, even if it wasn’t your original plan, I’m glad everything worked out for you guys! Hopefully we’ll see you in the future at your friends’ weddings!
