Just last weekend I was able to be Karina and Joel’s Sycamore Wedding DJ accompanied by Assistant Joe at a very quaint venue called Chapel in the Pines. This was definitely a unique venue, since there aren’t many, if any, other nice wedding venues in the Sycamore area, which is near DeKalb. The chapel, for which the venue is named, is honestly a beautiful place for the ceremony. The reception hall was built 5 years ago by the family that currently owns Chapel in the Pines, and they clearly take great pride in the venue they have built up!
This was another wedding where I had never met Karina or Joel until the day of the wedding because they were living out of town up until the wedding. We planned the entire wedding through Google Hangouts where we were able to video chat, and share screens in order to make sure everything was taken care of ahead of time, and make for a perfect day!
Brooke and her staff from Heybeck’s Catering provided a great ‘pig roast’ for everyone and were fantastic to work with to make this wedding a success!
Karina and Joel’s family and friends partied all night and had a great time, and we were even able to see a past (happy) couple, Kelly and Kyle!
