When Cydney and Ted found out about Ted’s deployment, their original wedding plans had to adjust a bit. They had an intimate elopement in Temecula, CA, and then decided to host a post elopement party in Chicago. Though this reception was a bit different from the ones we’re used to seeing, the party was every bit as spectacular! From our selection of DJ services, Cydney and Ted opted for our wedding base package and added on some uplighting to upgrade their venue.
December 17th brought us to Rhine Hall, located in Chicago’s Kinzie Industrial Corridor. This family owned distillery, responsible for some of the best brandy in the city, was the perfect venue for Cydney and Ted to host their reception. When the bride and groom entered the room, everyone’s smiles lit up brighter than the Christmas lights hanging as part of the decor. “Danger Zone” played as they waltzed in, paying a tribute to Ted’s military branch. The aviators they wore were a nice touch to commemorate the moment.
Instead of a more “traditional” dinner, Mr. Charcuterie Chicago and Molly’s Cupcakes provided tasty bites for the crowd to graze on. Dipsy Desserts also provided an adorable ice cream cart and passed out ice cream to guests. This, combined with DJ Shannon playing all the best hits, made the reception an amazing time! The dance floor stayed packed the entire night, as DJ Shannon played classics like The Beatles, as well as Top 40 songs that got people moving. Cydney and Ted also surprised guests by passing out Santa hats, so everyone could get in the Christmas spirit. The guests enjoyed dancing the night away to holiday music.
Happy #MarriedChristmas to Cydney and Ted! We had the best time celebrating these two with a bit of festive flair, and thank them for choosing us to help keep spirits high.
