Paul Michels Events had the honor of being the best Sweet 16 Chicago DJ for Madelaine’s birthday celebration. The day took us to Ruffled Feathers Golf Club, where the spacious ballroom was the perfect venue for both dining and dancing. The theme for Maddie’s special day was “Under the Stars”, so we made sure to provide blue uplighting to fill the room. Along with our DJ services, we also provided a photobooth and customized monogram projection for this celebration.

DJ Shannon, along with assistants Tyler and Andrew, helped make sure Maddie’s 16th birthday was truly the sweetest. By the time guests walked in, our DJs had the lights and some great tunes ready to go. As everyone found their seats, Maddie’s father, Keith, said a few words in honor of his daughter and blessed the meal. Guests enjoyed a lovely dinner while listening to some of Maddie’s favorite “chill” songs, including a mix of Lana Del Rey and Tyler, The Creator. 

It was important to play music that Maddie and her friends would like, so DJ Shannon and DJ Tyler opened up the dance floor to “I Like It” by Cardi B. They not only made sure to maintain the right energy for Maddie’s guests, but also included a fantastic line dance so that the parents could join in on the fun. Our DJs also made sure to give special attention to Maddie and Keith by dedicating a song to them. All their guests gathered and formed a circle around them while they enjoyed their moment together. For the entirety of the night, DJ Shannon and DJ Tyler were able to transition from different genres in order to make sure everyone had a blast.
