As the year gracefully strides through its midpoint, love continues to illuminate our lives, and the echoes of joyous celebrations resound in the air. We recently had the pleasure of being a part of Megan and John’s special day, with our DJ company providing  Chicagoland wedding entertainment DJ services for their wedding celebration. Our team had the distinct privilege of stepping in when their original DJ had to step back, and we ensured that their special day was nothing short of perfect.

Seven years ago, back when they were just kids, Megan and John met for the very first time. Fast forward to August 11th, the two lovebirds found themselves surrounded by their favorite people in the world to celebrate them. Their ceremony took place at The Wayside Chapel at The Center. While we waited for everyone to arrive to the reception site, we made sure our sound and lighting were just right so guests could immediately be immersed in the party atmosphere. The picturesque backdrop of Dolce La Vita, nestled in the heart of Downtown Lemont, provided the best setting for such an intimate gathering. With the enchanting banquet hall on the top floor of this charming restaurant, their celebration exuded a sense of coziness and intimacy that only a smaller guest list of 50 could create.

One very special aspect of the day was the fact that the bride made her own wedding cake! Megan, who’s currently in pastry school, had the chance to show off her skills, and absolutely impressed her guests with both her design and flavors of the cake. As she and John cut their cake to the sound of “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)” by Four Tops, it was an overall reminder of just how sweet their love is.

Following Megan and John’s first dance and their individual parent dances, it was time to invite all of their loved ones to join them on the dance floor. In the hands of DJ Paul, the evening was filled with the sound of celebration and great music. From timeless oldies to the latest chart-toppers, the dance floor came alive, fueled by the energy of the couple’s love and the camaraderie of their dear ones. Laughter, camaraderie, and pure happiness filled the room, creating an atmosphere that was as unforgettable as it was intimate. DJ Paul also hosted the Anniversary Dance, which started with “After All” by Cher and Peter Cetera. This song was in dedication to John’s parents, whose anniversary was the very next day.
