Alexandra and Mike’s wedding at The Franklin in Downtown Chicago was nothing short of magical, and we at Paul Michaels Events DJ Company were honored to be part of their special day. This was our first time DJing at this unique venue, and it quickly turned into an unforgettable experience. With breathtaking views, cutting-edge entertainment, and plenty of surprises, this wedding was truly one for the books.
The celebration began on the 44th floor of The Franklin, where the ceremony and cocktail hour took place. With panoramic views of the Chicago skyline serving as the backdrop, the setting was as romantic as it was awe-inspiring. The city’s twinkling lights framed Alexandra and Mike’s heartfelt vows, creating a scene straight out of a dream. The love in the air was palpable, and the beautiful surroundings only enhanced the intimacy of the moment.
After the stunning ceremony, the guests made their way to the 29th floor for dinner and the reception. Our team had the pleasure of transforming the space with our Elite Wedding package, complete with full-room uplighting and moving heads on lighting totems. The ambiance was elegant and immersive, making for a seamless transition from ceremony to celebration. One of the standout features of the evening was our selfie station photo booth, which was an instant hit with guests. Throughout the night, people gathered to snap fun, goofy photos, creating memories that would last long after the evening ended.
Speaking of memorable moments, Alexandra and Mike’s first dance was a moment that won’t soon be forgotten. We introduced our ‘dancing on the clouds’ effect, which turned their first dance into a fairytale-like scene. With the couple seemingly floating on a cloud, their dance became a mesmerizing experience for everyone in the room. It was an unforgettable moment that left guests in awe and added a touch of enchantment to the evening.
As the night continued, it was time to open the dance floor, and we made sure it was a showstopper. With a carefully curated playlist that kept the energy high, guests of all ages packed the floor from the very first song. Later in the night, we dove into house music, a favorite genre of both Alexandra and Mike, which added a personal touch and took the party to the next level. The final hour was a full-blown celebration, with everyone dancing and reveling in the joy of the night.
