For Jennifer and David, November 12th is a date that holds great significance to them. Not only was this the date of their perfect wedding celebration, but also the anniversary of their first date AND the anniversary of their engagement. After years of waiting for this moment to come, it was important to them to make sure they had their dream team to help bring their wedding visions to life. Chances are, a Google search of “Chicago DJ Wedding Services” led them to us – and we made sure to come through for them! Their wedding took place at The Penthouse Hyde Park in Chicago, an art-deco inspired venue with a rooftop ballroom and open-air terrace. For this wedding, our Elite Package, plus our photo booth services, helped make this a night to remember. We also provided a custom animated “Name-in-Lights”, which featured both of their names and the date of this beautiful occasion.

The evening started with a gorgeous, personalized ceremony. Jennifer’s siblings had the honor of walking her down the aisle to the tune of “I Choose You” by Ryann Darling. Their officiant, a friend of Jennifer and David, had the honor of performing the ceremony. From start to finish, you could feel the love and unity not only between the couple, but between them and all their loved ones gathered. To seal the deal, the newlyweds said their “I Do’s” and exchanged a kiss. In true Chicago fashion, the Chicago Bulls theme song played to really get everyone excited.

With the reception immediately following, the energy of the guests was set as DJ Shannon introduced the couple with “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas. Jennifer and David entered the room and raced to each table to get rapid fire photos captured of them with everyone in the room. As everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner, Jennifer and David’s daughters (Callie and Miranda) gave a heartwarming toast to their parents. Then came time for the bride and groom to share their first dance together. Using our “Dancing on the Clouds” effect, they performed a choreographed dance to “You” by Dan + Shay, which was a very romantic routine. DJ Shannon announced that the dance floor was open, and kept the romantic vibes going by playing songs such as “I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing” by Aerosmith.

Throughout the night, the dance floor remained packed and featured a variety of different genres of music. Instead of a cake, a churro cart and tacos were provided. Everyone loved these snacks to keep them fueled for the evening! DJ Shannon made sure to provide the best atmosphere with a winning combination of music and lighting, and kept the guests dancing all night long.

We can’t thank Jennifer and David enough for choosing Paul Michaels Events DJ Company to provide DJ services for their wedding. We’ll remember this day for a long time coming, and hope that these two will look back fondly at the memories made. Cheers to our November 12th newlyweds!
