The year is swiftly coming to an end, but we’re not done with the party yet! November brought some amazing celebrations – one of them being Claude and Elli’s wedding. We had the honor of providing our Chicago wedding DJ services at their reception, held at the vibrant Carnivale in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. This former nightclub now functions as a multitiered restaurant, great for a night out or celebrating once-in-a-lifetime moments. For this colorful occasion, Claude and Elli knew our wedding elite package would be just right.
The reception took place in Carnivale’s Samba room, which couldn’t have been more fitting for Claude and Elli. Just like the dance, these two are full of life and happiness, and ready to party from the moment they stepped in the building. This is just the way their loved ones described them in all the incredible speeches given that night. Getting to know Claude and Elli better through hearing about their personalities, relationships, and funny stories made the night all the more enjoyable.
After a mouthwatering Latin American dinner, it was time to dance the night away. But before everyone gathered on the dance floor, the newlyweds had to have their first dance together as a married couple. They then shared a dance with their parents – but not without a small prank on Elli’s dad first. For their father and daughter dance, the music started with a song he hated, but then transitioned into a very special song for the both of them. First Elli and her dad slow danced, then Claude and his mom joined the floor, and a couple of others got up and slow danced, as well. Following this, it was time to light the Samba Room up, so DJ Brian bumped it up a few notches. Whether it was pop or rock, oldies or Top 40, DJ Brian threw it out and the party took it all in! At one point, guests gathered in a conga line and paraded all around the room. The energy stayed high and it was clear that everyone came here to have a good time. The night ended with the most appropriate Tina Turner classic because Elli and Claude were simply “The Best”.
We’re extremely fortunate and thankful to have played a part in this couple’s happiest day! Cheers to Claude and Elli, and may their colors never fade away.
