As spring is blooming, so are all the weddings of the 2023 season. On March 19th, Elisa and Jason gave Paul Michaels Events the honor of providing them with Jewish wedding DJ services. This was a such special wedding for us, as these two are both death friends of DJ Paul. As part of our DJ services, we provided our wedding ceremony services and our wedding elite package for their reception.

For this celebration, we headed to the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel Chicago, located in Skokie, Illinois. Once on site, we headed down to the basement to set up the ceremony in the Versailles Ballroom. As guests started trickling in, the room filled with a steady hum of anticipation to see our bride and groom tie the knot. Then came time for the ceremony to commence. While short and sweet, every moment held meaning, and the room burst into applause as the couple finally said their “I Do’s”. 

Following the gorgeous ceremony, guests stepped outside the ballroom and into the foyer for a celebratory cocktail hour. Stepping into the foyer, you would hear the sounds of mingling and gushing over the newlyweds. After everyone had their fair share of drinks and hors d’oeuvres, they went back upstairs to the Monaco Ballroom to celebrate the rest of the evening.

The bridal party kicked off the evening by making their introductions to “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO. Following them came our bride and groom, entering to “Bring Em Out” by T.I. Everyone gathered around to participate in the horah, which filled the room with buzzes of celebration and excitement. Following the horah came the challah and wine blessing, then Elisa and Jason had their cake cutting. Elisa’s parents came up and gave a toast to the newlyweds, who then came up to welcome and thank everyone for celebrating with them.

As dinner was being served, the maid of honor and best man made their toasts. There were some laughs and some tears, but most importantly, there was joy for Elisa and Jason. Following dinner, Jason shared a heartfelt first dance with his queen of hearts to “The Joker and The Queen” by Ed Sheeran. Then came time for Elisa and Jason to share their individual dances with their parents.

The clock struck “dancing time”, and DJ Wesley opened up the dance floor and got everyone out of their seats. He played some classic music from the 90s, some Dave Matthews Band, and some country and rap hits. Everyone had a song they could jam to thanks to the all inclusive rotation of music. With DJ Paul MCing for the evening, the duo brought a dynamic energy to the room, and kept the dance floor full until last call. All the ladies lined up for the bouquet toss, and everyone got a kick out of the garter toss. For the last dance of the evening, everyone sang their hearts out to “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” by Marvin Gaye. At the end of the day, there was no valley low enough to keep Elisa and Jason from having the most amazing wedding!

From the classic ceremony and spectacular dinner service, all the way through to the must-hear music that ended the evening, Elisa and Jason’s big day was one that Paul Michaels Events was more than happy to be a part of. Mazel Tov to Elisa and Jason – we wish them an infinite lifetime of happiness!
