Another beautiful Saturday, another beautiful wedding. This was certainly the case for Janessa and David’s wedding! For this event, Paul Michaels Events traveled just north of Chicago to Community House Winnetka, where we provided multiple options from our DJ Services. This included microphones and music for their ceremony, as well as our wedding elite package for their reception.

The day started off with a gorgeous outdoor ceremony in the History Garden Courtyard. The bride opted to walk down the aisle to the piano version of a song from Disney’s short film, “Lava”. This was a unique yet elegant choice that really added a personal touch to the ceremony. After their “I Do’s”, guests enjoyed some cocktails and then headed into the Garden Room for the remainder of the reception.

Once inside, it was time to introduce the fabulous bridal party, as well as the flower girls and ring bearers. For the little ones, they entered the room to the theme song of the beloved children’s TV show, Bluey. Everyone loved seeing the kids dance around and show off their moves! David and Janessa entered the room, now husband and wife, and everyone cheered them on. They had their first dance right away, then followed toasts from the Maid of Honor and Best Man.

Catered by Design provided an amazing meal for everyone, and after a few more speeches, the action kicked back up. Both Janessa and David then had their own special dances with each of their parents, and at that point, you could feel the love in the entire room. DJ Brian then opened up the dance floor for everyone and invited guests to participate in an anniversary dance. Janessa’s grandparents ended up winning the dance by a landslide – they’ve been happily married for over 61 years! DJ Brian kept the floor packed by filling the room with fan favorites that everyone could enjoy. He span a wide variety of music, ranging from 1950’s classic to today’s top hits.

It was truly a wonderful night and we cannot thank David and Janessa for choosing Paul Michaels Event to be a part of their timeless special day. Cheers to these two and many years of happiness!
