August might be cooling down, but the weddings are still coming in hot. Shannon and Ryan’s wedding was a prime example of this. From beginning to end, Paul Michaels Events helped to make sure the day was nothing short of sensational. We made sure to prove that we’re the best wedding DJ in the Chicagoland our DJ services. For their reception, we provided our wedding elite package and our photo booth services.

We traveled a bit outside of Chicago to Biltmore Country Club, located in North Barrington, Illinois. Though we were not present for the ceremony, we don’t doubt it was a beautiful service! As guests arrived from the ceremony site, we greeted them with some Bridgerton songs as they enjoyed their cocktail hour. Before too long, it was time for everyone to find their seats for dinner. The ballroom at Biltmore Country Club was a gorgeous space for a wedding reception, accented by some soft white uplighting from us. You could hear the murmurings of “oohs” and “aahs” fill the room as guests found their tables.

Some epic introductions were made by the parents, bridal party, and of course, our bride and groom. The room quickly filled with high energy and excitement as the stars of the day entered. After their cake cutting (fittingly serenaded by Def Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar On Me), a blessing for the meal was given and the first course was served. Toasts were given throughout dinner by the father of the bride, maid of honor, and best man. Pink’s “Raise Your Glass” was the song of choice as everyone raised their glass of champagne to Shannon and Ryan. Following dinner, the newlyweds snuck in some golden hour photos before partaking in their wedding dances. After this, it was time to get the party started!

During the night, DJ Paul kept all best hits playing. He filled the dance floor with the sounds of some 2000s R&B throwbacks, hip hop/rap favorites, top 40 bangers, and a little bit of the classic oldies. To keep everyone’s energy levels fueled, some sliders and hot dogs were passed out for late night snacks. We kept the party going until the clock struck midnight and it was time for the last dance. Even after the last song, however, people were ready to still keep the party going. Though the fun had to end, we had an absolute blast seeing Shannon and Ryan dance the night away with all their favorite people.

Cheers to Shannon and Ryan! Thank you for choosing Paul Michaels Events to be a part of this special occasion. May you two have many more sensational memories like your wedding day!
