The month of September continues to bring more events to celebrate for Paul Michaels Events. One of our featured events occurred during the first weekend of the month, which was a wedding that took place in Schaumburg, IL. Our DJ services brought us to the charming Westwood Tavern to celebrate the marriage of Jason and Joshua.
Right from the start, this couple made it known that the sky is the limit when planning their wedding. One example of this was their custom lighting that filled the ceiling with stars and galaxies! We combined some of our own uplighting to give the couple exactly the wondrous vibe they were going for. As they exchanged their heartfelt vows underneath the night sky, you could feel the emotion encompassing the space. It was truly such a beautiful way to start the evening.
Another example of their limitless plans came during their welcome speech. They surprised everyone by entering the room to CM Punk’s theme song (“Cult of Personality” by Living Colour) with custom belts to signify that they were the “champions of the night”. No doubt about it, they certainly were! Their family and childhood best friends could not emphasize enough this fact, and made sure to pour all their love to them in their speeches. When it came time to dance DJ Brian threw down their favorite tunes ranging from classing R&B/Soul to modern Alternative Rock.
We couldn’t have been happier with how wonderful the day turned out! Congratulations to Jason and Joshua – may these two have a marriage that’s just as dynamic as them.
